So! With the 17^th fast approaching! I thought I’d send some more detailed plans along with various things I need some help with : )

FRIDAY:

• Ideally Audra and Lisa get to my house for 7.30am, we’ll go to Mel’s and pick her up
• I’ll greet her at the door with life-size Michael Bublé! Along with a tiara and sash she has to wear (she’s not getting off lightly!)
• Our train is 8.09 am and I’ve got a breakfast hamper along with bucks fizz to have on the train and I’m going to print out a card for each day to be given on each of the mornings with what the plan for that day is…
• I believe there are 3 cars going:
  • Amy with Abi?
  • Cheryl with Justine and Angela?
  • Sarah with Hayley, Corinna, Jess
• Our train gets into Bodmin Parkway at 12.30 – which is ‘kind of’ on route to Daymar beach – you just get off the M5 onto the A30 (I think! But don’t take my word for it as I have THE worst sense of direction)
  • Amy has offered to pick up 2 or 3 from Bodmin and then head to the beach…suggest Alison, Lisa and Audra (if you can get 3 in the back of your car Amy?) pick up at 12.30
  • Chez could you pick up me and Mel? At 12.30 from Bodmin Parkway station?
  • If the above doesn’t work let me know as no problem, but I’ll need to book a 6-seater cab sooner rather than later that’s all
• I thought ‘team Sarah’ could be in charge of getting to the beach before us, so say 12.30? and get all set up…
  • Sarah I will give to you the following on the Thursday…
    • 2 x picnic blankets
    • Pack of throw-away plates, cups, cutlery etc
    • A pack of throw-away silver platters
    • Plastic champagne flutes
    • 14 small gift bags
    • 14 pairs of flip-flops
    • 13 Michael Bublé masks
    • A helium balloon
  • I’d say it would be like 2 Aldi bags worth?
  • Thought the blankets can be set-up, balloons, all place settings with gift bags and I’ve made ‘place names’ and flip flops…Was going to give Amy the picnic which will packed into hampers to take in her car? And we can get those out once we get to the beach…
  • Thought you could all have your Michael Bublé masks on for when we get there and she’ll have her life-size mate with her!
  • Picnic I’ll make and will be good to go, along with some prosecco in a cool box
  • Amers – I’ll prob drop the picnic into you on Fri morning at the crack of dawn! Audra if I can grab the cupcakes on the Thursday too I can put them in the picnic baskets with Amy
  • Might try and get a game for the beach…
• Then the plan is for a team of 4 to leave the beach at about 3.15…Amy? Me? Alison? 1 other? We’ll head to Retallack resort, check in to the main lodge so that we can…
  • Decorate the lodge (I’ve got banners, signs, loads of balloons which will need blowing up!) this will defo take 2 of us!
  • Make canapes and cocktails and get that set up
  • Get photo frame and props etc set-up
  • Set-up laptop for Mr & Mrs quiz
  • Set up Prosecco Pong (may leave that until later if we’re short on space)
• Then everyone else to leave beach at 4 to get to resort for 4.30
• Cosmos and Canapes at the lodge at 5-6
• Everyone then get ready for Ibiza night 6-7
• Meet back at main lodge for 7 for bubbles and Mr & Mrs quiz game
• Butler arrives at 8-10!
• Prosecco pong and photos etc 8-9
• Chilli etc at 9ish
• Drink…dance…hot tub etc etc etc!

This is the day that requires the most organising to be honest to make sure each bit is a surprise…I’ll put more details about the rest but this is the trickiest day in terms of organisation!

Other bits…

• The website for Retallack resort does say that they can’t guarantee the hot tub being up to temperature on the first day as they have to clean it and refill etc…but I called them yesterday and I’ve said it’s a big birthday celebration (rather than hen do) and said we REALLY need it to be ready for Friday night, he’s made a note to try and make that happen – I’ll call them again the day before…but heads up…it’s not guaranteed to be ready for the Friday – fingers crossed it will be though
• I’m doing a food shop on the Thursday – Ames – will this fit in your boot too do you think? This will be bits to go with the Chilli on Friday, snacks, stuff for breakfast on each day, the spirits etc for the cosmos, stuff for canapes and all the picnic stuff
• Shit…gift hamper…that will need to go in someone’s car - @chez I might try and get that to you or Justine to take in your car? Thought we could give her that on Saturday afternoon.
• Amy / Sarah – are you still OK to make a chilli each?
